Important: Independent Relationship & Direct Settlement
Consultansy is a technology facilitator that introduces clients to verified independent consultants. We charge a nominal unlock fee to reveal contact credentials. Consultansy is not a party to the work contract, deliverable guarantees, or project payments settled offline between parties.
1. The Reverse Marketplace Model
Consultansy operates as a reverse marketplace:
- Requesters publish consultation requests for free.
- Verified consultants submit competitive, transparent quotes.
- Requesters evaluate credentials, pricing models, and timelines prior to any financial commitment.
- Requesters pay a one-time unlock fee to access the chosen consultant's phone, WhatsApp, and email.
2. Unlock Fee & 7-Day Refund Policy
The unlock fee is set per consultation category (plus applicable GST) and covers access to the verified contact credentials.
- The consultant's contact details (phone, WhatsApp, email) are invalid, disconnected, or unreachable.
- The consultant fails to acknowledge or respond within 48 hours of contact unlock.
- The consultant is demonstrably not the professional represented in their verified profile.
Refund claims must be filed within 7 calendar days from the unlock timestamp. Once verified by our administration, refunds are processed via Razorpay directly to the original payment source within 5–7 business days.
3. Anti-Contact-Leak & Moderation Rules
To safeguard the platform and prevent unsolicited telemarketing:
- Consultants and clients may not post telephone numbers, email addresses, URLs, or obfuscated contact formats ("nine-eight...") in public quotes or bios.
- Automated contact filtering monitors and blocks unauthorized leaks before publication.
- Accounts attempting to bypass the platform unlock fee or harvest client details will face immediate suspension without refund.
4. Offline Work Payments Guide
Work payments for the actual consultation or project happen directly between client and consultant. Consultansy recommends:
- Jobs under ₹2,000: Pay on complete delivery.
- Medium jobs (₹2,000 – ₹25,000): 30% to 50% advance, balance upon final review.
- Large engagements: Milestone-based installment payments linked to written deliverables.
- Always formalize deliverables, scopes, and deadlines in written communication before transferring funds.
5. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any legal dispute arising in connection with the platform services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
